All plans support an unlimited number of clients and projects and include one brand. A brand may be considered as one business entity. For example, if you are running two businesses and handling clients under both, then you would need to buy an additional brand allocation to manage them concurrently in the platform.
For users who need more than one brand, it costs $10 per brand per month. If you want to add more than three users to your account, you would need to buy an add-on pricing package, starting at $25 per month for four to ten users.
I signed up for Dubsado’s free trial. The first thing I observed when I started exploring the platform is its highly visual interface. The whole platform is designed to look like a Kanban board and tools are mostly color-coded for better differentiation of the functionalities. Its main tools have shortcut tabs on the left side of the screen: dashboard, reports, calendar, tasks, utilities, and templates.
The interface is also laid out simply and is easy to understand. For example, when I checked out the Projects tab, it is easy to locate all the essential features: leads in the pipeline, jobs, existing projects, archived projects, and more. It also provides information fields for client information, wherein you can easily input your client’s name, their contact info, invoice, contract, workflow among others.

Dubsado provides you with an extensive set of CRM tools to help you manage your customer relationships better and continuously grow your business. Below are some of its key features:
Client and Project Management
Dubsado provides you with extensive tools to manage both your clients and projects. In the platform, you can create projects for your clients and stay on top of upcoming tasks, completed forms, and deadlines. It lets you set up a simple and customizable portal to allow your clients to access all of their forms, emails, and invoices in one place.
It also enables you to organize your clients and projects into categories, onboarding stages, or any other custom setup; and create private boards for you and your team to stay on track, or share public boards with your clients to reach goals together.
With this feature, you can automatically send emails, forms, and invoices, and trigger unique actions and tasks within a project. You can also setup pauses in a workflow with required tasks or approvals if you want to check in at any point and customize workflow actions to be triggered conditionally or at a specific day and time.
Dubsado also provides tools to create templates for your workflows (repeated or single use), as well as set up automatic and personal emails to be sent to your client as soon as they reach out to you.
Scheduling and Appointment Setting
Dubsado makes scheduling meetings and appointments easy. As the platform allows your clients to access their own portal, you can allow them to schedule individual time slots based on your availability. You can easily do this by adding a scheduler to your website, so your clients can easily book an appointment, complete a proposal, and make a payment without leaving your site.
The tool also gives you the option to add padding before and after appointments to give yourself time in between meetings, as well as sync with your Google, iCloud, Outlook, or Office 365 calendar to prevent overbooking.
Dubsado provides a wide range of options to assist you in getting paid for all the work that you are doing for your customers. Payment processing tools include invoicing, quick payments (your clients can easily pay from any device), recurring invoices, payment overdue reminders, and gratuity. You can also connect your Dubsado account to your Stripe, Square, or PayPal account for simple payment processing.

Most Helpful Dubsado Reviews
Most Dubsado reviews I found online are positive. Users commended its great customer support—especially their receptiveness in hearing user feedback on how to improve the software. Concerns raised by users include limitations on the emailing feature.
Most helpful positive review: Excellent customer support; developers listen to suggestions for improvements from users
“Perhaps the best thing about Dubsado is how involved the creators are. They’re always looking for feedback and suggestions, adding new features, and keeping their users happy. I also love that there are so many learning opportunities and tutorials to help you best utilize the software. They also have a great trial period, which is very different from others. There are also great features that creatives and service providers need to run their businesses.”
Most helpful negative review: Emailing feature can be improved
“I wish the emailing feature was a little better integrated. For example, sometimes, I need to send the same email to a client, but I can’t go into my sent folder from Dubsado and resend the same email.”
