Author’s Note: I signed up for Really Simple Systems free trial (pre-assigned under the Professional plan). It was very easy to sign up—I just had to fill in a little information (name, business email, company name, phone number), and I was good to go. Credit card details were not required, and I was immediately brought to the dashboard upon clicking signup.
The homepage includes a seven-minute introductory video educating new users on the key features and functionalities of the software. Living up to its name of “really simple,” I found the interface straightforward and easy to understand. The dashboard was also pre-loaded with demo accounts and sample customer names, which actually made it easier to understand how it works as you are not starting from an empty screen.
Some of the key functionalities that I found remarkable include the “Opportunities” section that can be found under the Sales tab. The Opportunities page displays essential information on a particular opportunity such as close date, forecast, status, total value, and probability. It also indicates the source from which the opportunity came from. Another feature that I like is “Emails” under the Marketing feature, which enables you to create professional-looking email marketing campaigns with pre-built templates.
Overall, I found the user interface quite easy to navigate and understand. Features were described simply and there were no jargon used—which is ideal for beginners or those with very little CRM experience.
