What does the company do well?
Overall, iCIMS does an outstanding job with their entire platform making it very user friendly for clients to use. Also, their customer service is phenomenal and they are very responsive when you reach out - I've never had such a good experience working with a vendor. When you reach out to their client support line, they respond within minutes and even follow-up with a recap of the call and the solution provided via email for your records - I love this!
What does the company not do well?
If I had one suggestion for iCIMS to improve, it would be to make the reporting side of their platform easier to navigate as you really have to ingrain yourself in the platform and reporting features to fully understand how it is all interconnected and how it effects reporting. Many times, I have had to ask the client support line for help in creating a customized report because it wasn't something easy enough for us to do on our own within input from iCIMS as reporting comes from so many different areas of the platform.
What about the company do you wish you had known before purchasing?
To our surprise, we are blown away by the service provided by iCIMS in a good way. Although we had a general idea upfront from our interactions with them, it did not show how great they really are to clients on an ongoing basis. iCIMS is a must have for any HR department looking for an applicant tracking system.
