What does the company do well?
It combines all aspects of HR into one system. It is powerful and can do many things that will make an HR person's work life better.
What does the company not do well?
It is such a robust HRIS that it can be overwhelming and require many hours of your time during implementation. Even after using the system for months, I still feel like a very new beginner and that I have barely touched the surface in finding ways that this system can save me time and make my work life easier. I hate the fact that it is still Silverlight based and crashes several times a day.
What about the company do you wish you had known before purchasing?
I wish I had known that DayForce/Ceridian are still in the learning stages too. We had many different IC's (implementation coordinators) and on several occasions, one would tell us we couldn't do something, and then another would tell us we could. There have been several situation that we've run into that nobody knew how to fix. Or it would take days to get an answer on how to fix something.
