What does the company do well? End to end solution for trade contractors including CRM, estimates, invoices, payments. We run our whole business off of the platform with some cloud storage on the side to round out our needs. Everything is in the same place from the initial lead intake until we collect payment for a job well done. Google Calendar integration is great (albeit buggy on rare instances). There are competitors with more features, but none as easy to set up. If you are willing to work with some limitation and parameters, this is super easy to implements and train a team to use effectively.
What does the company not do well? The company does not update features to compete with alternatives despite suggestions made from the user community for years. For example, automation options are pretty non-existent. The automations that are there are frustrating - for example, when a job note is created an email can be sent to all assigned users, but not to the user that created the job note. This is a major shortcoming. Features that do get updated are minor - cosmetic almost. Features that get implemented are done haphazardly at times without warning, causing problems for our workflow. Some features like SMS seem like an afterthought the way they are implemented. But overall it is nice to see that at least something is getting done toward new features.
What about the company do you wish you had known before purchasing? There doesn't seem to be any focus on major updates - only small incremental changes that don't really benefit my business. However, it is solid and reliable for the most part, and the invoicing->payment collection process is great, and it integrates with Quickbooks online perfectly.
