What does the company do well? Not too many things. I use Base because there are not any good CRM programs that understand the direct sales market or process and Base at least has some of the features important to direct sales consultants.
What does the company not do well? Base has a lot of issues that frustrate me. First and foremost, I can't move from record to record as you can in a standard database. I have to move from a record back out to the main menu and click on the next record. Their customer support is horrible. Email only, with very slow response time. Then, it's a canned email telling me how important I am and how they can't wait to help me (ugh). There are numerous tech issues they seem to deny and have no fix for. Examples: Records and notes disappear from database regularly. No easy sync method with my tablet.
What about the company do you wish you had known before purchasing? I use base because there is no CRM (including Base) designed for direct sales. If there were, I'd be using it.
