What does the company do well?
AdvisorWebsites has one of the best customer service and support models available to advisors. Having switched from a less than favorable web design firm, I am pleasantly surprised by my experience. Every representative I've had the pleasure of communicating with has been friendly, responsive, patient and knowledgeable. Any changes I've requested or questions I've asked have been addressed the same day. They also have plenty of templates to choose from and will do additional customizations for a fee. They also have a robust online user forum where you can search and find answers to just about anything.
What does the company not do well?
I have some limited coding knowledge and am comfortable making basic changes to my website on my own. If you don't fall into that camp, you may find the DIY process somewhat frustrating. If that is the case, spend the money up front to have AW migrate your site for you. It'll save you time and headache down the road.
What about the company do you wish you had known before purchasing?
I wish I had known about the company in the first place. Period. Having spent thousands of dollars on a barely functional website previously, I am blown away by the service for the cost.
