What does the company do well?
When I first started email marketing I was recommended MailChimp and immediately found it easy to use and navigate. For those who are not tech savvy, MailChimp provided extremely usefully tutorials that walk you through the set-up stages of linking all the important info such as business address, social integrations and Google Analytics. What I really like is knowing that you can upload and host all the images and pdf you plan to use at one go and have it all in one place in the Content Manager tab.
What does the company not do well?
What I wish Mailchimp could offer were more landing pages templates so that I could create more customised opt-ins and the options to directly upload audio and video recordings. The lack of segmentation for each opt-in is also a major issue for me. I would love to be able to segment sign-ups based on the actions they have taken, e.g clicked links. That way I could send the right types of emails that I know would interest them most.
