What does the company do well?
Trinet gives you a dedicated Rep, who is always available for questions and assistance. This is extremely valuable to a smaller company like ours. Also, the availability of employee benefits that would not have been available to a small company. We love the benefits we get through them! At my last job, I was responsible for quarterly reports and payroll taxes. It was such a relief to find out that Trinet is a full service payroll company and that they handle all of the deductions, taxes and reports for us. We have employees in multiple states and therefore this is really beneficial and a big time-saver for me. As for the personalized service, if I have ever missed a payroll deadline or need to make a last-minute change to someone’s pay, our Rep has always been able to come through for us and get the changes entered. I don’t feel like I’m working with just a website.
What does the company not do well?
The only improvement that we would like to see is more flexible reports that we would be able to run.
What do you wish you had known about the company before using?
Sometimes the fees for extra services have surprised us (such as the fee for an off-cycle paycheck, etc.) but overall we still feel we are getting the service we pay for.
