What does the company do well? Zendesk Sell did a great job of customizing their demos for what we were looking for. They didn't just show us the standard demo that are cookie cutters for every conversation they had. We were able to provide them a list of needs that we were looking for in a CRM/Sales System and they showed us how each of those needs would be met in the system. They also did a great job of offering professional opinions for certain steps in our process and how to make the most of their tool with new features that we didn't have with our previous CRM system. They were great with the implementation process and answering our questions along the way. They even did all of this through their own change from Base to Zendesk Sell.
What does the company not do well? The hardest thing we've run into is changing our mindset from leads to deals. In Zendesk Sell you have Leads in one area and then when those transition to "deals" they go to another. We have to get use to managing two different areas in the system for different sales discussions we are having. This is something we are learning to manage with tasks so we have one task list to go to whether it's for a lead or a deal.
What do you wish you had known about the company before using? Overall we haven't run into anything that we'd wished we'd know before using the system. Our biggest suggestion is going into the conversation already knowing what you are looking for/wanting to accomplish. The more you are able to do this the more you are able to figure out if Zendesk Sell really will be the right solution for your firm. This is the first time we've ever really done that with a system and it helped tremendously.
