What does the software or service do well?
Quickly and easily set up tasks and subtasks with dates
What does the software or service not do well?
Easily open links directly to the task you are searching for. For example when I get an email to my gmail that someone updated a project card and I click on it, it just opens up RB and doesn't go to the exact task, not sure why. One thing I would like to see is notifications of due dates not only for tasks you create but for any and all tasks AND SUBTASKS that you are tagged on. I have to go and check tasks in different departments and click on each one to know when things are due.
What do you wish you had known about the software or service before using?
I think an introductory video explaining everything it can do would be great. Maybe there is one but it was not shared by my employer.
Have you used a competitor to the software or service? If so, how does it compare?
I have used several project management apps/programs but they were all much more limited than Redbooth
