What does the software or service do well? The software does a nice job of being a one-stop shop for Workforce Management. We use Workday for Hiring, Internal Recruiting, and Performance Management.
What does the software or service not do well? Software is not easily customizable. There are several things that have to be in place, including steps of the hiring process. Depending on what types of positions that you are hiring for, not every step in the hiring process will be used.
What do you wish you had known about the software or service before using? I wish I had known that movements within Workday (ie: lateral movements, promotions) are based on one another and have to be done in sequential order.
Have you used a competitor to the software or service? If so, how does it compare? We had used Kronos previously, and since it is not designed to be an ATS it was not user-friendly and not compliant.
