What does Google Slides do well? I love google slides! Our whole corporation prefers all the Google Platform of Doc/Slides/Sheets etc. I use this every week for presentations. It is so easy to use - easier than PowerPoint. I love the drag and drop photos right from Finder into the slides (I use a MacBook).
What does Google Slides not do well? My only complaint is that when I am presenting and use the down arrow to switch to the next slide, many times it advances two slides instead of one. It is very touchy/sensitive. Also there is not a function (or at least I don't know how to find it) to make the pictures I add to slides 3D with shading, etc. Another huge thing that would be nice would be to have an option to add symbols such as the R with a circle around it for Registered. When you make corporate slides you have to use TM and Registered symbols a lot.
What do you wish you had known about Google Slides before using? Maybe having an easy link under HELP to view learning videos/training videos
Have you used a competitor to Google Slides? If so, how does it compare? Power point - I prefer Google slides over Power Point - Probably 75-25% preference of Google Slides even though PowerPoint has more functions/flexibility
