What does SoftTime Online do well?
SoftTime Online is super easy to use - both on the user end and the administrator end. The reports are easy to run and very helpful. We use SoftTime Online to track time off because we need to do this tracking in a system that is not tied to our payroll system and it does a great job. Our employees have even provided feedback to me that it's easy to use.
What does SoftTime Online not do well?
It is not very intuitive. It's the kind of software that is very easy to use once you've been trained on it, but is not easy without training because it simply isn't intuitive. There are certain buttons that aren't easily found on the page. I've sent over suggestions to make them easier to see but have not received any feedback. The customer support is also so-so. They are great once they respond t a request, but there is often a delay in receiving a response to a request or question.
What do you wish you had known about SoftTime Online before using?
I wish I had known that the customer support team is not always available. I could be wrong, but it seems to me that there aren't many individuals on this team.
Have you used a competitor to SoftTime Online? If so, how does it compare?
I have not used a competitor but I have used the system prior to SoftTime Online, which was called SelecTime. SoftTime Online is much more flexible than SelecTime was.
