What does AppFolio do well?
We have been able to increase our accounts without too much work due to the functionality of adding new properties/owners and just how streamlined the entire program is. It's definitely an invaluable tool for my current company. Our use was extremely organized, succinct and they kept us on track to make sure all deadlines were met exactly when they needed to be. We've now been using AppFolio for about a year and have not had even one major issue with any part of it. I honestly don't know what me or my company would do without it, I don't want to live in that world.
What does AppFolio not do well?
Customer support for AppFolio is...less than perfect. It takes forever to get past the process of auto-links to redundant or irrelevant Support Articles or FAQs. Getting through to a live person for hands on support, especially when you it's a business critical situations, is less than ideal.
What do you wish you had known about AppFolio before using?
Our company did not expect the lack-lucster Customer Support and it bit us quite hard on a number of occasions. Urgent support does not happen, which was soul-crushing when it happened the first time.
