What does Comcast do well?
Comcast as a business does well at forcing out the competition or being the only option in smaller towns. They've created a vice on the customer because they know that we'd have no other option if we would like to be connected via the internet or have TV service
What does Comcast not do well?
The pricing model is always favorable to new customers and they do not seem to care much about losing business (follows suit with them knowing they're the only option for most customers). They have extremely difficult customer service and it almost becomes a sport to try and "get through" to anyone.
What do you wish you had known about Comcast before using?
There are many blogs and articles that thoroughly explain the in and outs of the customer service model and how to as quickly as possible get results in their marathon of painful interactions. I just wish google fiber was in my zip code.
Have you used a competitor to Comcast? If so, how does it compare?
I've used smaller local companies that have different technology packages and while they may not compare with Comcast in speed they always make up for it in price and service
