What does Slack do well? Slack is a great platform for team collaboration and direct message interaction. Various Slack Apps (HubSpot, Google - Calendar and Drive, Kyber) make my life that much easier by having everything in one place. Love the ability to Webhook various notifications into Slack across the platforms we use.
What does Slack not do well? Would prefer to see some more analytics on how Slack is being used within my organization/team. While Slack can be a tool for efficiency/communication it can also prove to be a distraction.
What do you wish you had known about Slack before using? I am constantly learning about new add in's, apps and integrations. Not that I needed to know about these all from the outset but a week does not go by where I don't find something new in Slack to increase it's value to my organization.
Have you used a competitor to Slack? If so, how does it compare? I have not.
