What does Invoicely do well? I'm a freelancer and I need to spend a minimal amount of time invoicing. The one thing that Invoicely does incredibly well making invoicing a breeze. In a nutshell, it makes invoicing very straightforward: create a list of clients, define your invoice templates and then just start invoicing. You can easily check which invoices are due and you can make them as paid when it happens. It just works without going through hundreds of screens. It also works great if you have two businesses. I created my two business for two different countries and am able to define language, currency, and so on - and this is all with the free plan. For my recurring invoices I will plan to upgrade to be able to accomplish this.
What does Invoicely not do well? I have thought about this one and I cannot think of one thing I would change, works perfectly for my needs.
What do you wish you had known about Invoicely before using? Nothing really...everything was laid out crystal clear before I started. Most online apps give you a free trial that you are not even aware you are using. With this app, it was clear what you were getting from the get-go.
Have you used a competitor to Invoicely? If so, how does it compare? I used "Timing" on the Mac and it was such a complicated piece of software to generate invoices and reports. I used many others and always found a deal-breaker.
