What does OfficeTime do well?
I have been using OfficeTime for several years now and am impressed with the company's improvements to the software. I am able to create projects and then assign clients to different projects. It is easy to stop and start the clock for various clients so that billing is more accurate. I am able to filter clients and projects which gives me the ability to more accurately quote future projects for new clients.
What does OfficeTime not do well?
I wish exporting to Excel was a true Excel file and not just a csv file.
What do you wish you had known about OfficeTime before using?
I wish there were YouTube videos going over the various benefits of the program and how to. I have had to learn as I go.
Have you used a competitor to OfficeTime? If so, how does it compare?
I used a program called Legal Law as it was the only one with a reasonable price for hourly tracking of projects/clients. I really like OfficeTime better because you can filter how much time you spend per project type or per client. It give you a better understanding of how long projects take and in turn you can give better quotes to future clients for the same type of work.
