What does the software or service do well? My favorite piece of this software was the ability to easily calculate total pay over a certain period of pay checks. I would use this for Workers comp claims, employment verifications, etc. I also liked the ability to project the accrued amount of PTO that an employee had based off of the date you selected.
What does the software or service not do well? Unfortunately, there was a lot this software didn't do well in my opinion. The customer service was not great at all. You never had the same representative when you called in and there was not an email portal to send questions to. Which meant every time you had a question or concern, you had to call in which took forever since the hold times were bad. The reporting feature was improving before we transitioned, however the reporting capability was lacking.
What do you wish you had known about the software or service before using? I wish I would have known that they were going to change us from Resource to Workforce Now - without really an option. I also wish I would have known more about the customer service and how that worked. Not having a designated rep is the worst part of the system.
Have you used a competitor to the software or service? If so, how does it compare? Paylocity and Paychex. I would say ADP was better than Paychex but doesn't compare to Paylocity. Paylocity is by far the best system.
