What does Saba do well? Saba has one of the easiest course management systems out there, it's easy to create learning paths for specific job roles without having to utilize an LMS admin. It also cloud based and in fact it was the first system to have a cloud based LMS as they are one of the biggest in the business. It could easily handle any 3rd party software for course creation and it has a huge repository so you can use it for all your internal training documents.
What does Saba not do well? I wouldn't say that SABA doesn't do anything particularly unwell, what I would say is that SABA is better suited for a larger organization as opposed to a small one due not only to overall cost but that SABA is designed to handle larger organizations, but SABA has no weaknesses in the LMS stage grounds.
What do you wish you had known about Saba before using? That it was better suited for larger organizations, when I first looked into it it was for a smaller business and looking at all the different functions I couldn't recommend it and it was really due to the price point, however this again doesn't change how well this does it's job.
Have you used a competitor to Saba? If so, how does it compare? One of it's largest competitors is cornerstone, and really the only real difference from my standpoint was that SABA had a better customer service experience.
