What does BigCommerce do well? I find BigCommerce works really well within our needs and even exceeds them in many aspects. The customer support is 2nd to none and they even include you in their "Town Hall" which is a monthly live update where they explain a few new products patches if any and also hold a Q&A at the end. IO find this makes me feel counted as a valued customer. The integration of Facebook is great as well as I am able to list my products on my website and it automatically gets imported to Facebook Massive Kudos to BigCommerce from me
What does BigCommerce not do well? Obviously there have been a few niggle here and there my main one to date is the Logo issue which has been ongoing for newly a year now with no fix.
What do you wish you had known about BigCommerce before using? Before I used and switched to BigCommerce I contacted them and they ran through ever question I had and gave hgonest answers and if they didn't know they got back to me within 24 hours with the answer.
They even went as far as showing me several different features I could have and explained in full depth of what I needed and how I could achieve my goal for my website at the time.
My goal has greatly increased since using BigCommerce purely to the fact I am still only using a small percentage of what they offer.
Have you used a competitor to BigCommerce? If so, how does it compare? I have used a few different website platforms and can say that BigCommerce has so far been the one for us. The main factor for me going over to BigCommerce was the discount platform was million times better than what I had previously and the price of the site is the same. My previous platforms were very basic even after being told I could have every feature I wanted/needed and this was even after agreeing with my previous platform to have a business manager with them for a year costing me around £120 a month so I was extremely pleased when I could pull out of that and found BigCommerce.
