What does Cisco Webex Meetings do well?
The audio and video quality are good and it works well with many users, like 25-30. We did not have more in the same call. The mute all option is very useful sometimes. The mobile and browser support are good additions.
What does Cisco Webex Meetings not do well?
Sharing screen and giving the remote control shows a decrease in performance, adding delays in refreshing the shared screen to participants. It is always asking the way you want to connect to audio, with the computer audio or with the phone. Ideally it should detect it automatically and use that. The mobile version sometimes is not in sync with the desktop version.
What do you wish you had known about Cisco Webex Meetings before using?
The sharing screen performance is a challenge to all conference software. However, there are other solutions that are better from this point of view. Also, it looks like it is adding a lot of network traffic and requesting a lot of network bandwidth to provide a high quality for video and screen sharing.
Have you used a competitor to Cisco Webex Meetings? If so, how does it compare?
We are also using Zoom and it proves to be better than Cisco Webex Meetings, at least for the shared screen performance, that we use a lot.
