What does WorkBoard do well? Workboard makes it easy to do project management for not that technical people. It provides a nice user experience for: - breaking down in smaller tasks - managing project resources - assigning tasks - monitoring the progress of the work - project status reporting to higher management levels
What does WorkBoard not do well? Not as straightforward to use at first. People need training to benefit from all the features of Workboard. There is some slowness of the User Interface sometimes.
What do you wish you had known about WorkBoard before using? Personally, I am used to more advanced project management tools, like Microsoft Project, I especially like their timeline view, shared resources, gantt chart etc. Smartsheet is designed in a different way that requires some time to learn and to adjust. I think it is a little more difficult for project managers using Microsoft Project to easily switch to Workboard.
Have you used a competitor to WorkBoard? If so, how does it compare? Yes, Microsoft Project which in my opinion is still the father of all project management software.
