What does Hive do well? It is very easy to point out that its main strength lies in how user friendly it is, everything you need has it at hand and you get to the option you need intuitively, it gives the feeling that it is a program that you have used previously, so I really liked this. The communication channels that opened up for my team were very helpful, improving the exchange of information and collaboration between colleagues in a way that we had not experienced before.
What does Hive not do well? There is no way for each team member to see what their responsibility is for all projects that are involved, this would allow them to focus better on the work they have to do without spending time on knowing the status of the entire project and what are the tasks they need to perform. Having this option the employee would immediately jump to perform their work with full knowledge of the progress and tasks to be performed.
What do you wish you had known about Hive before using? The software does not have a way to configure dependent tasks that are maintained and duplicated over several projects, this would have simplified this by prevented from doing this manually over and over again which is impractical and takes a considerable amount of time. In addition to this there is no other point where Hive has been clear since before opt to use their product, I consider that they have remained honest in what delivers the application.
Have you used a competitor to Hive? If so, how does it compare? Yalla is a software similar to Hive which I had the pleasure of using a while ago, this however presents disadvantages in terms of the platforms that are compatible with it, something that with Hive does not happen since it supports platforms like Android, Windows that are not present in Yalla. Among the integrations that allow the two software are very even, with a not very extensive list but with very useful applications for all kinds of needs that your company would need.
