What does the software or service do well? WorkDay is a great software which allows for recording hours, hosting training, Open Enrollment for health insurance, requesting time off, updating personal information, etc. It has the capability to host multiple functions for the user, which typically you would have to log into multiple platforms to achieve.
What does the software or service not do well? I believe the recording hours portion of the software could be improved upon. It would be nice to be able to record multiple days at once, as opposed to having to enter day-by-day and recording lunch break, etc.
What do you wish you had known about the software or service before using? I wish there had been more hands-on training; however, the software is very user friendly so you can pick it up fairly easy with little-to-no prior training. I did not realize how many functions it could take over from previously having to log into multiple applications to achieve the same work.
Have you used a competitor to the software or service? If so, how does it compare? We previously used ADP, which worked for recording hours; however, it was not as multifaceted as WorkDay is.
