What does Wix do well?
I use Wix as a training tool for the call center I work for. They can use it as a resource also to reference different aspects of how a call should go. Also, it has all of our call scripts and information that customers may inquire about. There are buttons for each question a customer may have, with the proper response for our agent to use. Wix makes this all very simple to set up.
What does Wix not do well?
The user interface can use some improvement when it comes to the overall layout. They could also add to the tutorial library to help new developers further.
What do you wish you had known about Wix before using?
There are some extra features that are not available in the free version. It would be nice if they offered a free trial of all of the services to get an idea of how useful they would be before purchasing.
Have you used a competitor to Wix? If so, how does it compare?
I use a variety of different Web Site Design Software. I would say Wix stacks up well against all of them. Their "What You See Is What You Get" layout makes it so that anyone with limited web design experience can design a fully functional website.
