What does Constant Contact do well?
Constant Contact makes it easy to create marketing campaigns, manage lists, and schedule email campaigns. I love how easy it is to add building blocks into your newsletter. It also has a library of images that you can upload to and use regularly, saving time. The formatting of text regularly shifts without notice and it can be really tricky to get it formatted how you want. I use it regularly to write newsletters and find that, when working from a previous template, it’s easy to update and add, but when starting from scratch, it can be glitchy. It also has issues saving the colors you use so it can be tedious to go back and find the colors to keep the look consistent in your communications.
What does Constant Contact not do well?
The system is build on drag-and-drop blocks so it's not very flexible. It also has glitches with formatting due to the constraints.
What do you wish you had known about Constant Contact before using?
I wish I had known all of the things you can set up to automate when people subscribe to your newsletter.
