What does Mixmax do well?
Mixmax is INCREDIBLY helpful for cold outreaches, following up with leads after meetings, and following up with internal messages (to know when people have opened, re-opened, how many times) etc. As someone who does heavy outreach, it's amazing how frequently I need to prioritize engagements, change my messaging, send follow ups and when to simply give up on prospects.. Mixmax makes that possible and efficient. Great tool and very easy to use. Additionally, it is very easy to create and deploy templates for emails and messaging. It provides good analytics and data as well to understand how your messages are being resonated within the market.
What does Mixmax not do well?
While the baseline product is easy to use, it does require a steeper learning curve to utilize all of it's features. Initially I was a little unsure of how to use some of its features. I even thought I had sent out an important email only to later realize that I had misunderstood how to use the multiple stages feature. There can be a greater need for training and a "walk-through" to take advantage of it's full offering.
What do you wish you had known about Mixmax before using?
I recommend testing out Mixmax with your team to see if they don't prefer the UI to other tools. Also, keep an eye on whether sharing calendar availability in-line versus via a link helps or hurts your meeting booked rate.
Have you used a competitor to Mixmax ? If so, how does it compare?
I have used email tracker and Outreach. Outreach is a different beast of an outreach tool but mixmax works exactly as needed for its functionality.
