What does Salesforce do well?
The best Sales CRM hands hand. Salesforce has the most functionality and makes it very easy to log interactions with prospects. Salesforce worked for my company to help quickly report on marketing campaigns and the influence they have had on won opportunities.
What does Salesforce not do well?
Salesforce is so powerful that you need a set admin to handle changes. It can be difficult to make small changes to the platform. One time when it did not work for my company is properly reporting on daily performance of an SDR team, we had to purchase a separate reporting software for this.
What do you wish you had known about Salesforce before using?
I wish I knew more about best practices before setting up Salesforce and then making many changes due to changes in the way we operate.
