What does Apple Pay do well? Apple Pay makes it incredibly easy to pay for items with a click. No need to get out your wallet. Plus, because I use different reward cards for different items, it's nice to load various cards without having to walk around with them all. And more stores are starting to have Apple Pay as an option, so that's good.
What does Apple Pay not do well? You can't find Apply Pay everywhere yet. It's usually just large retail stores like Target, Best Buy, etc. It's a concept that's trickling down to smaller retailers, but we aren't there yet. At times I have also worried about getting hacked, but that can happen with just about any account now.
What do you wish you had known about Apple Pay before using? I wish I'd started using it earlier. You can set it up in just a minute or so, and the ease of use is outstanding. I love not having to get my wallet out of my purse.
Have you used a competitor to Apple Pay? If so, how does it compare? I've places like Home Depot offer PayPal at checkout, and of course, many large retailers let you now tap the chip on your card to pay. But none are yet as easy as Apple Pay. But maybe it's too easy to spend the money, ha!
