What does the software or service do well?
This software application allows users to share and collaborate across departments and with external clients. You can upload files without needing to bounce back and forth to SharePoint (and it has version control/history), create tasks/storyboards, group into similar activities or sprints, schedule and conduct meetings, and chat in channels/groups or individually.
What does the software or service not do well?
When I'm in a meeting if someone is playing around on their phone or voicemail it sometimes broadcasts the message to all participants. That part can be distracting but the overall quality is what one would expect from Microsoft.
What do you wish you had known about the software or service before using?
Skype is rolled into most enterprise Teams platforms instead of a standalone application. Knowing more about when it will be phased out may help others plan their selection process.
Have you used a competitor to the software or service? If so, how does it compare?
I have used Slack. It is very similar and Microsoft's competitor in this space. I believe if you have the MS product line the additional costs for licensing are worth looking into.
