What does Skype for Business do well?
Especially with all of the work from home going on lately, Skype for business has been crucial in our team staying connected in daily meetings.
What does Skype for Business not do well?
It doesn't do webinars well like some of the other competitors. It also doesn't have as many integrations as some of the competitors outside of the Microsoft suite of products.
What do you wish you had known about Skype for Business before using?
I wish I would have realized how integrated Skype for Business is with the rest of the Microsoft Business suite. Our company uses Outlook, but I personally use Gmail for my inbox, so it has limitations and doesn't sync as nice with my Google Calendar as it does with an Outlook Calendar does naturally.
Have you used a competitor to Skype for Business? If so, how does it compare?
Uberconference, Zoom, Join.Me, and many others. I would say they are all comprable. Skye is more like a FaceTime on steroids than a true video conference platform. It also has replaced our VOIP systems internally.
