What does ADP Workforce Now do well? ADP Workforce Now is a great way to streamline your business activities and maintain multiple functions all in one place within one platform. It has a ton of reporting capabilities that are super helpful and save a ton of time. Additionally, they have great customer service. We have a dedicated representative who is always there to answer questions. They also have a lot of helpful guides, videos and tools that allow you to educate yourself without having to make any calls.
What does ADP Workforce Now not do well? There are a few glitches in the system that I have discovered over time. Sometimes you will have to log out and log back in in order to access certain pages after making a chance. It's odd and does not happen always but it an occasional problem. Another issue is that there are some reporting features that still seem to spit out terminated employees as active, even though they are completely terminated everywhere in the system. ADP has not been able to figure this out yet but have tried working on it. Lastly, there are occasionally long hold times when calling during very busy times but they do have a feature where you can get a call back instead of waiting on hold which is great.
What do you wish you had known about ADP Workforce Now before using? I wish I would have had the opportunity to take an in-person class to be fully-trained. I don't know if they offer this but I was not able to take advantage of it if they do. It has been kind of learn-as-you-go for me.
Have you used a competitor to ADP Workforce Now? If so, how does it compare? I used Paychex Flex at prior role. They had very similar functionalities but I think overall ADP is superior from what I can tell. It has been years since using Paychex Flex though so they could have updates and changes I don't know about.
