What does the software or service do well? Teams is a really awesome tool for document collaboration using office products. We are able to utilize Teams for sales tracking, screen sharing, document editing, and general communication with team members that are in different locations.
What does the software or service not do well? The built-in scheduling/to-do list tool is not easy to use and requires a lot of set up. I use this section more for brainstorming since there are other great tools out there for this. It takes some time to get used to the chat vs. teams section of the platform and to make sure you are getting notifications correctly for each.
What do you wish you had known about the software or service before using? Teams has exceeded my expectations I was definitely skeptical at first as Microsoft is a bit behind the curve on items like this but it has worked better than I thought and been easy to implement.
Have you used a competitor to the software or service? If so, how does it compare? I have used Slack and the look and feel of Slack was much nicer and it had some great integrations but Teams does have a bit of a one-up as far as ease of getting users implemented and collaboration. Teams does take longer to navigate and learn how to best use.
