What does TimeSolv do well? TimeSolv makes it easy to precisely track employees' hours, from billable time to administrative time. I appreciate the simple interface, as well as how easy it is to pull reports in many different file times (Excel, PDF, etc.). I primarily use TimeSolv to track billable hours, however all my hours for my employer that I perform for the week are tracked through this app.
What does TimeSolv not do well? If you need to look at how employees spent their time based on plan tasks within a project, you have to pull Excel reports then create a pivot table. Unfortunately it does not separate time spent based on project>plan task, so to look at that level of data users have to do some work on their own. This isn't ideal because it means more time spent on administrative efforts. It also opens up users to larger margins of error.
What do you wish you had known about TimeSolv before using? I don't think there's anything I had wish I had known about TimeSolv beforehand.
Have you used a competitor to TimeSolv? If so, how does it compare? No, previously I had used Excel spreadsheets to track time and it was less efficient.
